Selangor Intelligent Parking (SIP) is a flagship initiative under the Smart Selangor program, designed to integrate local authority parking systems into a single, cashless, and user‑friendly platform. It supports the state’s vision of building a connected, efficient, and sustainable smart city.
Our Role
Through its official appointment by the Selangor State Government, RMSB serves as the Principal Implementing Agency for smart parking management across the state.
SIP AS A COMPONENT OF THE SMART CITY
- Enhanced Parking Security Selangor Intelligent Parking (SIP) integrates enhanced security features, including CCTV surveillance and centralized monitoring, to improve safety and reduce petty crime in parking facilities.
- Efficiency & Big Data Analytics Through big data analytics, Selangor Intelligent Parking (SIP) enables detailed analysis of parking duration and usage patterns. These insights support better planning, resource allocation, and policy decisions, contributing to a smarter and more efficient urban mobility ecosystem.”
